Cardi B’s Strip Club attack brought him back to court, and the rapper skipped 15 days of community service

Cardi B emerged relatively easily in court when it came to her infamous 2018 strip club brawl. Last September, the mother-of-two and her co-parents pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor counts. At the same time, they saw the dismissal of ten other charges – two of which were felonies.

It remains unclear exactly what the 30-year-old told the judge. However, Takeoff’s recent death is likely part of the reason why she was unable to fulfill her commitment. In the weeks since the Migos member’s untimely death, she’s been doing her part to take care of her husband, Offset, and their kids.

In a statement to the outlet, the artist’s attorney, Drew Findling, shared his client’s thoughts on the situation. “On a personal and professional level, Cardi dedicates herself to community service and philanthropy,” he said. “So she appreciates the court giving her until March 1st to complete her community service commitment in Queens, New York.”
