Dotcom, who legally changed his last name in 2005, has founded several Internet companies and lived all over the world.

However, in 2012 Dotcom’s house was raided at the request of US authorities and this pink Caddy was taken along with several other cars.

It has been in storage ever since and was recently sold to a dealer who is putting it up for auction with Trade Me.

The ad reads: “This car was one of 2 Cadillacs purchased in New Zealand by internet mogul Kim Dotcom in about 2010.

‘This car was then held up by the government for a decade and ended up in my possession a few days ago.

‘The car will come free of mechanical problems.

“Small oil leaks are to be expected with any classic car from this era and are to be expected even after a rebuild.

‘I will include a drip tray for the buyer :)’

The auction has another nine days to run and the bid is already around £60,000.

The car is painted in the same shade of pink that Elvis uses on his Caddy's.
