Thalapathy Vijay’s highly acclaimed film Varisu, which was released last week, has already become a blockbuster. After the 5th, the film entered the 100 crore club in India. The Hindi version of the film is also getting a lot of attention on social media. In its opening weekend, the film has grossed over Rs 3 crores. Apart from Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna’s flawless chemistry, fans are enamored with the lively track Ranjithame. It has created a stir on social media. Now, a video of an elderly woman dancing to the electrifying number has gone viral.

In the video, a grandmother is seen dancing Ranjithame in the theater. As soon as the song sounded on the big screen, the grandmother could not remain calm and she decided to dance in front of the theater screen. Grandma, who was dressed in an orange sari, danced her heart out and didn’t care about a thing. The video also shows a group of young people dancing together with the old woman to the song. The caption also read: “No salsa no flamingo my brother you know grandma kuthu… This grandma lit the fire in the theater for the Ranjithame song.”

The video has garnered more than 153,000 views since it was shared online. Several users of social networks were stunned to see this video. One of the users wrote: “The greatest gift for Vijay. 6 to 60 years will admire it”. Another user wrote: “Fire emoji madness.”

Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, Varisu has an all-star cast including Thalapathy Vijay, Rashmika Mandanna, Sarathkumar, Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, Shaam, Srikanth and Yogi Babu. The music for the film is composed by S Thaman. The Telugu version of the film is titled Vaarsudu. The film starring Thalapathy Vijay as Vijay Rajendran is one lucky man happy to go. However, things change when his adoptive father dies unexpectedly. The Telugu version was released in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on January 14.
