Kerala Startup Mission Awarded Asia’s Best Talent Nurturing Company – The New Indian Express

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) has successfully funded 200 start-ups after identifying more than 900 innovators deserving of support last year. For their efforts, KSUM was named Asia’s top performer when it comes to promoting talent, according to the Global Startup Ecosystem Report 2022. They are also fourth globally.

Instrumental in the state’s business development and incubation activities, KSUM held as many as 22 bootcamps, eight hackathons, and 10 summits, in addition to seven research demo days, three business demo days, and around 50 webinars.

He has also provided no less than 2,500 hours of mentoring for startups, along with hosting 15 investor and industry meetups, and more than 40 workshops. KSUM CEO Anoop Ambika said 2022 marked a fruitful year for the agency with a “remarkable increase” in the stature of the state’s startup ecosystem.
