Ribbon cutting for the Center of Excellence for Cardiovascular Diseases in Gauthier

Today, the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Center of Excellence for Cardiovascular Diseases in Gauthier.

The center, located at 2012 Highway 90, provides the patient with cardiovascular care in a state-of-the-art environment.

A team of independent physicians has teamed up with Arise Vascular to help open the site.

The center does not accept acutely ill patients and has a ratio of nurses of one to one. The staff offers various treatments. Medical Director Dr. Sati Adlaha said: “This is a wonderful experience. You know, all the cardiologists are just so happy that we have this together, which is good for all the cardiologists. You know, we’re in different bands and we’re all connected to each other and I think that helps the community.”

Gauthier Mayor Casey Vaughan said: “We welcome them and our citizens – it will be easy for their patients to come here and feel that you are not in a hospital, and this is very attractive.”
