Ricochet: The Internet Cares More About Different Fighting Styles Than Wrestlers

Ricochet comments on the different styles in wrestling.

Braun Strowman made headlines after WWE Crown Jewel 2022 when he tweeted and later deleted: “Holy hell @TheGiant Omos can you believe we got 47 and reminded people that nobody cares about all these floppy floppers? Giants and Monster > flippy flipper bag your grocery store is at @kroger #AirportTest #SizeIsThePrize #SwoleIsTheGoal.”

Ricochet was one of his teammates who responded to the tweet, but later said he didn’t think much of Braun’s comments and that they were still friends. On television, they met at the SmackDown World Cup and also teamed up.

Speaking with Stephanie Chase, Ricochet opened up about her pairing with Braun.

“Braun has been great. I’ve known Braun since I’ve been in WWE. He’s always been great, even now, he’s been coming to help me with Imperium or Hit Row, and I’ve helped him. That’s going great. It’s especially great when you and someone like Braun Strowman are on the same page. It’s always good to have a monster in your pocket, just in case. Things have been great. If he and I can start to get closer and together as a team, it could be dangerous”, he said.

When asked about the different styles of wrestling and how he managed to break into the company as a great flyer, Ricochet responded by saying: “I think the internet talks more about it than the wrestlers. The internet cares more about it than the wrestlers. For the most part, everyone behind the scenes, they just want to do something together and they want to make a piece of art for you.” Boys. I don’t think anyone really cares (about) someone else’s style. If you listen to it, it’s usually more about the internet than the locker room.”

Ricochet recently defeated Top Dolla in a Royal Rumble qualifying match on the January 6 episode of WWE SmackDown. He was attacked by Hit Row (Dolla, B-Fab, and Ashante “Thee” Adonis) after the match, but was saved by Braun.
