Samsung is now rolling out a new version of its internet browser app. It’s not version 19 coming out of beta, but it fixes a bug that prevented bookmarks from showing up on Samsung Internet on some devices.
The new update pushes Samsung Internet to version 220.127.116.11. In addition to fixing the bookmarking issue for some customers, the latest version of the Internet browser also improves stability and brings the latest security patches.
Version 18.104.22.168 is a relatively minor update, unless you’re having issues with bookmarks, in which case it’s probably a very welcome release. The changelog doesn’t specify which Galaxy devices had issues with Samsung’s internet bookmarks prior to this update, so feel free to let us know in the comments section if you’ve experienced this issue with internet on your device.
Meanwhile, Samsung is testing new features in Internet 19.0 beta, including Chrome’s long-awaited bookmark sync feature. There’s no telling when this version might get out of the beta stages and into the public version of the app, but if you don’t want to wait any longer, you can download the beta from the Play Store without having to delete the live version. .
