The PSVR2 doesn’t look cheap as impressive features debut in a hype-inducing announcement

PSVR2 is Sony’s next major hardware release, coming sometime in 2023, and it’s starting to ramp things up. In addition to seeing snippets of promising VR headset games like Horizon Call of the Mountain, we’ve recently had some juicy hands-on impressions to read. Now, the platform’s support is starting to push the new technology with dedicated ads and highlighting all the bells and whistles.

The video communicates the various luxury features of the PSVR2. These include a high-resolution HDR display, eye-tracking technology, foveated rendering (which works with eye-tracking to prioritize visual details in your line of sight) and a wide 110-degree field of view. It continues to feature touch-sensing technology from the Sense controllers, as well as haptic feedback in both the controllers and the head-mounted display, 3D audio, and adaptive triggers.
