Tiger Woods announces field for 2022 Hero World Challenge, including seven of the world’s top 10 players

The best of professional golf will be heading to the Bahamas once again this winter when Tiger Woods announced the starting course for his 2022 Hero World Challenge on Tuesday morning.

Seventeen of the top 21 players in the world will play from December 1-4 in Albany, Bahamas, including defending champion Viktor Hovland, World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler and previous champions Jon Rahm (2018), Hideki Matsuyama (2016). and Jordan Spieth (2014). Will Zalatoris, Cameron Young, Sungjae Im, Max Homa, and Tom Kim will make their Hero World Challenge debuts, with three more exemptions to be announced at a later date.

Golf Channel will broadcast the event for all four rounds, with the third and final round airing on NBC. Tickets are available here, with proceeds benefiting the TGR Foundation, the Tavistock Foundation and the Bahamas Youth Foundation.
