Tory Lanez will no longer be part of the “Fall Back In Love Comedy & Music Jam” after her alleged altercation with August Alsina. Over the weekend, the “I Luv This Sh*t” singer took to social media to reveal that the Toronto-born rapper had punched him in the face, leaving him with a bloody lip and a bruised face. Although Tory denied the claims, the footage showed the chixtape star trying to greet August before the fight ended.

On Monday (September 19), tour creator Rip Michaels confirmed August’s claims that Tory assaulted him after the Chicago show, opting to write the 30-year-old rapper off the tour altogether. Michaels told TMZ that August missed his performance the day after the incident because the assault landed him in urgent care. “There was no fight,” Michaels told reporters. “[August] He was hit by Tory Lanez.”

The comedian also added that although Tory denied the claims, he was very apologetic after the altercation. August reportedly made up for the lost show by giving fans free tickets. The fight comes amid Tory’s preparation to go to trial for her felony assault charge against Megan Thee Stallion after she allegedly shot him in the foot in 2020.

Earlier this week, the rapper/singer’s trial date was rescheduled because his attorney is busy handling another case. It is unknown if August will press charges against Tory and his team. However, he did post some words of encouragement that his mother sent him as he recovers from the bumps and bruises he got from the altercation. He captioned the loving message: “Everyone stay safe, strive to believe in yourself and Jesus, and make sure you heal.”
