Khloe Kardashian said Tristan Thompson “always knew” Maralie Nichols’ baby – but she pushed her for another baby anyway.
In the first episode of season two of “The Kardashians,” which was released Thursday on Hulu, the Good American co-founder revealed that she and a Thompson surrogate implanted an embryo “days before Thanksgiving” in 2021.
I found out about Tristan [with Nichols] The first week of December,” she said in a confession. “It’s very close. I don’t want anyone to think I did this after the fact. Why would I want to have a baby with someone who has a baby with someone else? I’m not much of a sociopath. I’m crazy, but I’m not that deranged king.”
Kardashian, 38, also confirmed that the NBA player, 31, found out about Nichols’ pregnancy on July 2 — months before the reality star was “encouraged” to go ahead with surrogacy.
“All I know is that I’ve been encouraged to do it by a certain date,” she explained.
“In hindsight, he always knew when the other baby was born, especially getting the papers we saw.”
News of Nichols’ pregnancy broke in December 2021 when court documents from the paternity suit were leaked. Nichols claimed she became pregnant with Thompson’s baby after they slept together over his 30th birthday weekend in March.
Thompson vehemently denied being the father of her child and even appeared to threaten her for supporting her child, but a DNA test performed after the birth of their son, Theo, on December 1 proved that he was, in fact, the infant’s father. Thompson apologized to his once again ex-wife, who he also shares with 4-year-old daughter True, in January, but she refused to take it back.
The plot intensified earlier this summer when Page Six confirmed that the former “Kocktails with Khloé” host was expecting another child with Thompson — despite their split. The surrogate of the former couple was going on to give birth to a baby on July 28. His name remains unknown, but Kardashian has hinted that it begins with a “T.”
Thompson also has a 5-year-old son, Prince, with ex-Jordan Craig.
